Poor start I have to say. I'm not blaming the actors but the writing, casting and general world that's been created. Its far from lord of the rings. I'm not too sure that production have read or understood the silmalrion. There's a failure to use the correct speech and behaviour. The hobbies appear more like a rabble from eastenders! The elves are very bland and lack the grace, intelligence and eloquence they deserve. And where are the bearded dwarf women!? The desire to be ultra diverse may actually impeed the story and lore. The sad thing is all the descriptions for each race is plainly written, how was that so hard to follow. On the plus side tons of money has been spent so the visuals are good. Remove the association with lord of the rings and the world its trying to represent and call it something else and this would be half decent.
