I will forever love and appreciate this show for all it stands for and everything it's taught me. So many people I know pass this show off as a childish show made for young girls with hardly any plot pr substance. That statement is something I resent entirely. The first season was obviously loveable and creative, but I will admit you can tell it's slightly more targeted at younger audience, but as the interest grew and bronys became popular the show grew alongside it. It remains a family friendly show, but the lessons contained in the story are priceless and valuable lessons that everyone should take into their lives. This show made a very large impact on me and the way I view, not only myself but the world and all that it throws me.
I doubt I will ever stop telling people to watch this show. What many people don't understand is that my little pony is far from some of the 2 dimensional (both literally and plot wise) shows we would watch as young children. It isn't some ponies teaching you how to spell, read or count numbers. This story doesn't have a base villain in which the series centers around nor do all the episodes have the same concept. Some examples that come to mind for me would be the beloved Dora the explorer. Though when I started watching MLP FiM (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) I was still watching Dora, it's obvious that MLP had much more storyline and focuses on teaching lessons by showing the beloved characters learning these lessons themselves, vs Dora who goes on very similar and repetitive adventures, always challenged by the same sneaky fox, trying to teach you Spanish along the way while using minimal vocabulary. They have episodes addressing the fandom and fanon ideas as well. Overall all the show has done so many things to inspire and capture me! IIts Amazing and I I don't Know if I'll ever stop admiring it for everything it gave me.
