Imogen Laing (poppysflux_)

I’ve been a fan of Novak since The Office and I had always wanted to see more of his writing — his book is fantastic and the shows he’s written on have always been good but I knew he was capable of so much more. This film did not disappoint. It’s the perfect balance of funny, profound and emotional, and it’s so beautifully written. I can’t count how many times I’ve rewatched it at this point; I never get tired of it and it still manages to shock me every time. The cast is fantastic and really brought their characters to life, particularly Ashton Kutcher whose performance really stood out to me in the few scenes he was in. Definitely one of the best films I’ve seen in a while, highly recommend.
