Kaliyattam is a loose adaptation of William Shakespeare's 'Othello' into the background of God's own country Kerala. Classic screenplay and great visuals powered by the phenomenal acting from our protogonist Suresh gopi(Kannan Perumalayan)and villain Lal(Paniyan). Manju warrier(Thamara) plays the heroine role of the story.Movie is a cult classic movie from malayalam film industry.One of the best feature film made in India. 3.8/5

Expectations were at the peak,when we heard an announcement of dulquer salman about this movie.All were proud to release a movie in a global Ott platform giant -'Netflix'. Honestly the movie,just disappointed me and my family. Script,screenplay,direction,acting was not pleasing...only good i felt was the songs and visuals...Movie is a package of cameo roles of many stars.But it was not needed in this movie. My rating 2/5 One time watchable
