Why is everything so dark? I hate shows that are dimly lit like this one. It seems pretentious and feels depressing. I would not continue to watch if it wasn’t so engrossing. I know I shouldn’t like it: it is almost West Wing-level wishful thinking. And overly dramatic. But I do like it. I love Reese Witherspoon’s character. And it’s addressing important issues.
