Greg Nakamatsu

This used to be one of my favorite shows until last season. They changed the premise of going to different parts of the country, with different regional tastes, to be solely based in Los Angeles, where vegan food is very popular, giving a disadvantage to meat based cuisine. Last season also featured a food truck, not only with home field advantage, but a VEGAN truck to boot. Both last season and this season featured challenges that benefitted, guess who? The VEGAN trucks. Both last season and this season featured teams that were bullying and nasty to other teams, which I found offensive. Khana was able to fire one of their team members this season, but allowed to hire another team member. This was not allowed in past seasons. I would not eat from any of the finalists from either season. There seems to be a predetermined “winner” that the producers are pushing the public to believe have had an even playing field. Done with this show. Sad to see what has become of a great concept.
