Absolutely love the movie. It captures the soul and essence of the movie quite well even if it could go into detail unlike the movie which leaves many things to be left up to the audiences understand. Really enjoyed the how the book portrayed the man-apes and the Discovery mission. I'd say this novel is a good companion piece to the movie, and worthy of a read.

A fun and exciting movie. Shatner, Montalban and all the others showed an amazing performance on the big screen and the legendary battle in the Mutara nebula was literally perfect. In my opinion this movie has the best soundtrack out of any movie in the franchise(maybe except The Motion Picture). The best movie out of all the Star Trek movies and the overall best movie I've watched without a doubt.
