Awful show. Anything sci-fi I try to at least give an honest chance but this was horribly written and acted most of the time. There were parts that kept me hoping and wanting to know what was coming but it's like they tried to cram in too much with too little development. There were characters with stories that I was supposed to feel something about but because of how it played out I couldn't care less about them. It was 3 seasons of drama crammed into one.

It was ok for the first few episodes. Felt low budget but I could live with that. I could overlook some really simple science errors. But as the drama started to intensify it just got to be so poorly written that it went from a little cheesy to a lot of cringe. Glassner's daughter is a horrible actress playing an even worse part.

From the reviews I feel like I'm alone in not liking this show, but I couldn't make it out of the first season. It isn't deep. It didn't provoke any thoughts. It was deep like a high schooler having a life epiphany is deep. On the surface it might come across as deep, but only if you've never had a coherent philosophical thought before. It was ultimately just dry and awful. I looked on IMDb for the highest rated episodes to see if it gets better and it apparently doesn't.
