I enjoyed this movie overall. The movie was not perfect, some of the jokes fell a little flat. The movie struggled with what it wanted to be, horror, stranger things, adult themes, kids movie. That is a hard balance to try and get in any film. I feel most of the jokes that landed payed off, sometimes multiple times. The writing was fun and flowed well, and the actors looked like they had fun. And the finale, i'll quote Jimmy McGinty. "Miles and miles of heart!" I can forgive the little things, I am going to the theater to watch this again. This film gave me something I haven't seen in a long time. They cared about the fans.
