Observation is more of a sci-fi short story than a video game. Although the stakes are high, you can affect very little. There are some "puzzles", but they're mostly memorization and quick-time events. You can't really lose, you just retry. I enjoyed the set-piece, and the voice acting, and the story, but I came away from this wanting more. The setting is great. The angle is unique. The characters are interesting, but Observation doesn't flesh these out. You can learn more about the background as you progress, but this wasn't very satisfying either, and still left me with gaps. And while the ending wraps things up (kinda), it doesn't explain the "why" very well (if at all).
Overall though, I enjoyed Observation, and I'm happy I experienced it.
