I liked this book because it was riveting.
It was a mystery that was written in a slightly different way from the usual and had a modern appeal . Bodie Kane and others investigated the murder of Thalia Keith.
I liked the way that the investigation developed and the questions that they delved into .These questions guided the investigation and my thought processes so that I could follow the logic of the investigation as Rebecca Makkai intended. In fact, chapter 26 of part 2 had lots of questions .So much so that every sentence had a question.
This was unusual but in an appealing way since investigators of murders thrive on questions in order to solve the murder. This created a tapestry of intrigue and suspense that kept me riveted.
