ROSEMARY Kennedy

I’m a huge fan of Roger Allam but this series really disappoints. The consummately English main characters don’t even try to act French. The contrived, predictable dialogue is awkwardly delivered and their twee interpersonal relationships lack authenticity and depth. I think the common law wife and or her mother should be killed off at the earliest available opportunity lest there be no second series. Didn’t any of these actors see Spiral (Engrenages) or even Maigret?
