I never intended on reading this book. I work in a small city, at a family owned business. A little girl from the business next door came over with a book she was reading at school. Just the cover of this book intrigued me, “Wishtree” was the title. I’ve never heard of this book or author prior. But let me tell you this… as soon as I started reading, I didn’t want to stop. The relationships between the characters is just one of the amazing things about this book! This may be a children’s book, but the lessons that it teaches you is for anyone and everyone! So yes, I never intended on reading this book. But I’m so grateful that the universe brought me the opportunity to do so. I’m 22 years old, almost 23 and yes I cried after finishing this amazing beautiful piece of art!
