Honestly these books had a lot of potential but I didn’t like them for three reasons. 1. The pacing is a little fast. (This isn’t that important it just bugs me) 2. There is no representation of people of color or members of the Lgbtq+ community. Like honestly it’s not that hard just do better. How are people expected to like reading if they can’t see themselves in books? 3. Honestly in ACOMAF (the next book) Tamlin becomes a villain and is portrayed as abusive but Rhysand is just as bad. Like at one point he says to Feyre “your mine” he tells her her family is full of bossy females. THIS ISNT OK!!! What are you teaching people Sarah J Mass that it’s ok to be abused because the guy is hot? Your making kids think its ok to not see themselves in books! JUST DO BETTER!

The Invisible Life of Addie Larue is probably the best book in the world. From the first page you are drawn in to a beautiful and complex story that you can’t put down. The main character Addie is beautifully written, with real emotions like loneliness and longing and her fair share of flaws. She reminds me of Bell from beauty and the beast, a country girl with a love of stories. The writing style is fabulous the plot is awesome, and a bit of a tearjerker. This story is relatable, beautiful and an absolute must read!
