This book had me fully engaged from beginning to end. FINALLY, advice from a Man's perspective about Men TO Men. Truth told simplistically and transparently. Mr. Devon Franklin, I applaud you for having the bravery and integrity to provide a clear and no-where-to-hide manner in how you conveyed this insight to Men about themselves. My Pastor Jamal H. Bryant made this a book of the month read after you visited our church, @New Birth in Stonecrest GA, and I am so glad that it was the vehicle that allowed me to digress and learn. For me, this book has exposed my own truth about the root of bitterness and resentment of Men (especially of color). It has made me look at Men in a better way. It has caused me to not be ashamed of being compassionate and empathy for their struggles and regardless of how I've been treated in the past, I no longer carry that with me into any interaction I have with others. Thank you for this God-inspired piece of Art.
