Fun read with some glaring logic flaws. Makes sense that Perry used made up names and processes for making explosives. But a glaringly stupid episode occurs when the bomb squad is brought together for a party. Throughout the story Stahl has repeatedly insisted on minimizing the number of bomb techs that are together. So it’s idiotic that he goes along with a party that nobody knows who arranged, there’s a big cake on a cart that nobody inspects - and then none of the squad even gets injured. Pretty lame part of the book.
