Samuel Fuller

My favourite Japanese director. This is the movie that introduced me to his work. It has 2 of my favourite genres. Japanese horror and found footage. All actors give a full and realistic performance, even the children. And the story, while 100% fictional, goes well to making it seem like it’s a believable Japanese folk law. If you are looking for a gateway into Japanese horror, I can’t recommend this highly enough. 10/10
