The film felt very much a mixed bag for me...The first 2/3 of the film was excellent and spot-on...The atmosphere, pacing, tension and the amazing sound design kept me on the edge of my seat, but by the time the third act came around, I felt the film started to lean too much into nostalgia and retreading old plot lines from previous alien films...*SPOILER ALERT* The CG recreation of the Ian Holms android character felt very poorly made, and the final monster felt too much like a copycat of the one in Resurrections. All in all, I had fun watching, but was let down somewhat by the ending.
