In the original trilogy and expanded universe (now dubbed "legends"), the Empire was a racist, sexist organization (Mara Jade and Admiral Daala being a couple exceptions, but even they worked in secret). Now the fan base is a racist, sexist organization. The sadness, irony, and disappointment I feel about that is overwhelming.
Bottom line: TLJ haters ruined any hope we had for new, cool, original stories. I just gave Obi-Wan five stars to counter all the hate. Disney, please bring back Rian Johnson. He is our only hope.
