This is the best war film I have ever seen. Saving Private Ryan is still on top with it, but they are two different types of films. I was never in the military, but have a few friends that were and deployed. Based on everything they have told me, and years of watching and consuming different types of media pertaining to the subject of armed conflict, this is as raw and as real of an account as you are going to get at the movie theaters.
