I’m a big fan of the whole conjuring series but this was THE Worst “horror” movie of the series. Absolutely nothing was scary. It felt like it’s a story about the warren family and not at all about the smurl case. There’s no clarification on where the haunted mirror comes from which demon controls it etc. It was not even close to what I had expected from their last movie. The ghosts clearly looked animated. It had very predictable jumpscares. Very dissatisfying ending. Didn’t like the grown up character of their daughter in the movie either. The only part I liked was seeing Ed and Lauren together on screen again.
