This book was terrible on several levels. I was bored from the beginning and wish I had given up 1/4 way through instead of 1/2 way through. I kept hoping it would get better, but it got worse. The writing was overly dramatic at times, the plot was boring, there were superfluous sentences that I think were attempting to add depth to the characters and story, but just added meaningless words. This was my first book by this author and I won't read another, despite many reviewers saying this isn't like her other books.
