The movie is well animated and colorful. Its abundant musical interludes might be off-putting to non-musical lovers, but they pull it off quite well. The Sino-American style of animation is refreshing in its sense of cosmopolitan aesthetic. While it might be a joy to both adults and children, as an adult, I'm subconsciously wondering what psychedelics the animators were on or were they just inspired by other animations that were fueled by psychedelic imaginations. Nudge nudge wink wink... Well, as a whole I enjoyed it...good, wholesome, light entertainment.
