The characters and setting are almost too lifelike; you'd wonder if the Arcadia community was actually based off your actual local fringe city housing commission community.
There is one token stereotype character I can think of, but everyone else is treated with greater depth, while still being highly relatable. My highlights are Iris and Sabine (great casting).
At least give season one a go, and prepare for an even tighter and dramatic season two, currently viewable now.
