Blue McBlue

As someone who first read the book, then watched the movie, I was *highly* disappointed. They are absolutely nothing alike. However, If you try not to compare the two too much, the movie is okay by itself. I feel like without the background information I had I would have left confused though. They didn’t really explain what was happening, or the situations they were in, and it wasnt well executed either. When they did try to explain something, it was briefly and at a time where it felt redundant. And personally, I found the pacing of the overall movie to be atrocious. That said, I found the cgi and animation to be very impressive and fun. And the actors did a good job playing their parts, regardless of if they matched the characters in the book or not.
