Dooms day

This was literally the worst superhero movie I’ve ever seen in my life. Pretty much all the action scenes were just ppl driving cars and running away from things. The editing was also very jarring. I feel really bad for the four main actresses as they were frickin’ tricked by Sony into thinking they were soon joining the MCU. The fact that the spider suits were in the movie for about less than 3 mins and was only used for a flash forward is a crime. The only piece of thread saving this movie for me was Sydney Sweeney and that was it. What confuses me is how this even got past the pitch meeting phase. Who read the script and green-lit this thing? I kinda wish they had gone with the Terminator-esque plot line. Sony really needs to hand the rights to Spider-Man back over to Marvel. Marvel knows what’s up, unlike Sony.

Michael B Jordan did THAT. When I first heard that this was his directorial debut, I was super curious on how he was gonna be able to direct a movie that he was also the lead character in. But, damn it, did he blow me away with his newfound skills. The way he took advantage of this opportunity to incorporate anime fighting styles (since he was a big fan of anime) was incredible. The cinematography was unlike anything we’ve ever seen from the Rocky/Creed franchise. Clearly, Creed 3 is the best movie in ENTIRE trilogy.
