An absolutely brilliant, yet devastatingly confronting movie based on a true story.
I'm not interested in the cancel culture activists who disapprove of Hilary Swank's role in this movie; she was perfect for the role of Brandon and portrayed him in a respectful, sensitive way, placing the audience in Brandon's place, seeing his world through his eyes. It was uncomfortable at times, and knowing the ending made it especially difficult, but this movie needed to be told.
If not for this movie, I wouldn't have known about the true events it was based on.
