"Had" to read this again for school (not complaining at all - it's one of my absolute favourite books). I don't even have the words to describe how much I loved this... So beautifully and hauntingly written (narrated by death). Had me smiling sometimes and crying at others... truly a written masterpiece. Not to mention Leisel's love for books rings true for me as well... and it expresses books as life-changing things which I 100% agree with. So so so powerful, beautiful, emotional... honestly unforgettable. I can see how Markus Zusak said this book means everything to him... It means so much to me as well. Amazing amazing amazing. Cannot say it enough. Very much recommended.

I took out this book "When the Light Went Out" by Bridget Morrissey from the library as a bit of a random grab. When I started reading it I was surprised to see that it wasn't the thriller that the back made it sound like but I was gripped from chapter one. The writing style wove really beautifully the storyline and I really got to know the characters through this as well. Bridget Morrissey really has a way with words and I really can't believe how many negative reviews I've seen online for this. It really is incredibly written and I found myself rereading sections just to soak in the beauty of the language. The book showed a lot about the power that friendship can have and that even after someone is dead they will stay in people's hearts forever. I also loved how this book showed the way that the characters, especially Olivia. The book showed hope and friendship and courage... I found myself close to tears in several places. Although I didn't agree with how there was bad language and a few other immoral things, the book was very moving and emotional and I would recommend it. It has probably gone into the list of my favorite books. :) And thank you to Bridget for writing such an amazing book. I hope that it impacts people's lives and touches people's hearts as it touched mine.

The facts: Carbon dioxide helped to make a cleaner environment. As the CO2 levels are rising, the earth is getting warmer and this also means that the climate will be milder and increases and quickens plant growth. It will increase rainfall over the earth, lengthen the growing season and make the earth greener and more fertile. On a graph, in the film Blue Beats Green, it is shown that when CO2 entered the earth, the earth had started warming up many years prior. So, the assumptions made in this film are not true. The reason this video was interesting and has 1 star rather than none at all is because through this, I saw what is NOT true. It proved to me further that Global Warming is not a problem to humanity.
