i don't know why or how anyone could give this movie a thumbs down. Let's face it, there will ALWAYS be the "behind scenes" that no one but the actual people involved will know and Hollywood will always put their spin on things, even with bio's. This movie, was just plain -- AWESOME. I loved seeing the though process of how some of the songs were made and the inner lives of the people involved. I must admit, Malek, prior to this movie was more of an unknown to me, but he just friggin nailed it!! What an outstanding performance- and to all those involved. I wonder what the remaining band members think??? The only thing i wish could have happened, is to show the after Live Aid - what the band did, discussions, and possibly the remaining months he had left. I would have sat there in the theater for another hour just for that.
