2/10 complete style over substance people attempting to attribute any deep meaning to this film are making a silk purse out of a sow’s ear - it’s literally the best looking worst film ever made - Gawain is renowned as one of the strongest knights in the realm and in this film he’s a damp flannel. Beyond disappointing. The acting is so bad it’s actually bizarre and the scenes are so achingly drawn out and meaningless it’s embarrassing. It’s hollow and without content or integrity. People saying that there is actually ‘symbolism’ in this film literally wouldn’t know what a symbol was if someone smashed a drum kit over their head.
