What could have been a potentially cheesy movie turned out to have much more substance than you might think. It lightheartedly included some great social issue messages without shoving them down your throat. I heard some say it was emasculating but I think you have to look past that to grasp the depth of the messages. I loved all of the Barbie nostalgia (of course you're gonna see lots of marketing but you expected that already) Margot Robbie was easy to love as Barbie and I feel like Ryan Reynolds had fun playing Ken. Go see it, dress up and have fun with it!
