For me, it felt like it was an hour too long; or perhaps it was just that what should have been a trilogy was squeazed into two films. Scares were few and far between, with too much CGI, in my opinion. Maybe due to the the length, but at times it seemed to ramble, losing my interest often, through no fault of the excellent cast. As with the rest, the final battle is a long drawn out affair with a shakey conclusion. Sorry Mr King, but I still don't like the ending...
