This movie is absolutely delightful. It takes the original story and offers us a brutal new history that’s dark and makes you feel for Pooh and his friends. This film takes us into a much darker 100 Acre Woods, hauntingly beautiful and eerie it’s set up like a classic slasher with some deaths having more meaning than others and storylines colliding to set up the big hunt, this movie is fun. It’s beautifully filmed, has great pacing and gore that offers some of the more exciting kills of the year.

Absolutely delightful exploration of using a historically awful thing like conversion camps as a setting for a horror film and illuminating them as the horror themselves. Although there was leaning in to some stereotypes it felt well thought out and respectful to peoples lived experiences. Great filming. Great acting. Well worth the watch unless you’re homophobic then this one probably isn’t for you. Which is okay, they didn’t make it for y’all.
