Breathtaking, inspirational, and relatable despite what your religious beliefs may be. This story has given me the strength to get closer to God and my faith. The story speaks to anyone who is might be lost, feel abandoned or forgotten, and to our everyday lives as we face our own demons and giants. This show is truly a work of art. From the actors, to the costumes, to the music and dialog. EVERYONE should give this show a chance. Don't worry about the names you may not understand. Instead, look at the bigger picture and see what you can take away from David's story. I hope this show will continue and that it will lead to the telling of other impactful Bible stories.

Breathtaking... A stunning depiction of the harsh realities within Indian culture and societal norms. This movie covers ALL bases. Action, heartbreak, political unrest, love, spirituality, and so much more. I cannot think of the last movie I watched that left me feeling so fulfilled. Dev Patel forces you to feel EVERYTHING he has endured. He inspires you to dig into the darkest part of yourself until you find your light. You will not be the same after watching this. Costumes, music, and visuals were so authentic and raw. If you're looking for layers to get enraptured with and a true story to fall in love with, this is the movie for you. MUCH MUCH respect to Dev Patel and Jordan Peele. This was BRILLIANT! A TRUE ORIGINAL STORY!!!!! I want more Dev!!!!!!

Austin was mesmerizing. I thought the movie was going to be cheesy, but it was VERY well done. I love that the story was very simple, a boy from the south just chasing after his dreams to provide for his family. Costumes were faaaaaaabulous. It was a classy, thoughtful, and inspiring movie. I felt like I went back in time just for a moment. Watched this with my daughter, and she's now knowledgeable of Elvis and a fan. God Bless everyone involved in the making of this movie. Hats off to Austin, you took my breath away.
