KOEI has gone lazy with cloned weapons resulting in many characters using the same weapon. If the first four instalments had characters with their own unique signature weapons WHY not just keep it that way? Good gameplay. But cloned weapons will never be a good feature. Many characters including Okuni, Goemon and others being cut out of the playable roster is unfair. Not everyone plays for the plot. For me, I play as the characters for fun and exploration, not necessarily care about history.
