Great movie about two great ladies. I just watched it for a second time. I fell in love with Patsy when I was a little girl & Loretta sang about the real lives of women in our world. They were strong, talented women who shared a genuine friendship. So sad that we lost Patsy way too soon.

Heading into the final showdown. Thoroughly enjoying. Excellent acting & characters.

I don't usually get into 'series' programs & am not fond of 'flash back' story telling. It usually isn't well done, creating confusion. But This program is a REAL WINNER in every way. I had heard about it but never watched until a few weeks ago. Since then I have seen Justin Hartley & Chris Sullivan on talk shows & I Love them as much as I Love their characters. There is so much TRUTH in the story. Children don't see their parents as the parents do, generationally. No two children have the same perception of the family dynamics & often it creates lifelong conflict. The writers have captured the different personalities, emotions & expertly brings it all together with the deep love & commitment that each one has for the others. Rebecca's remarriage, the angst that Kevin carries inside, Kate's clinging to her guilt & to her Dad & Randall's journey to see where he fits in the world. The people who have come into their lives are all affected. The flash backs slide right into place, fitting like a glove in each case. The scene in the bar with Beth, Miguel & Toby was incredible & we saw yet another connection built. The guest stars have been awesome & move the story line along. The one with Sylvestor Stallone & the ones with Ron Howard were fresh & a great surprise, yet became part of the puzzle. I've been binge-watching (BTW I don't usually do this!) this program to catch up to season 4. I'm into Season 3 & I can't wait to see what happens next. Tremendous writers & actors. Should win a LOT of awards & make big stars out of a few folks!! Thanks NBC for a real Quality Show with a Fresh Story.
