I read the book growing up and again as an adult. If I was rating the movie without having read the book it was "OK" if I was rating the movie off the book I was thoroughly disappointed. The whole thing was rushed.

Naomi Watts is a great actress but this movie was just too long of watching just her run through a forest, talking on her phone. I fast forwarded often just to see the ending.
