Excellent synopsis of the events which took place before the infamous Lutz haunting. I'm originally from Long Island and can confirm that a lot of supernatural events have occurred in and around the South Shore, in particular, specifically the Amityville area. This location has been steeped in mystery for generations. I won't give away any spoilers, however. See the movie for yourself. Unspeakable evil in that house.
