Horrible! Book was incredible! Couldn’t wait to watch series! I love Reese and Kerry so I was thrilled to watch. Even though Mia was not African American in book still thought it would follow the concept of the book! It doesn’t and the changes are all done to make white people look bad! Structured movie to bring out political reviews! The author of the book must be devastated! Read book don’t watch series that’s my advice!!! Also to those who think Mia was a typical surrogate she wasn’t. She was chosen because she looked just like his wife. His wife was born with rare condition. So Mia is the biological mom. They don’t tell you that in the series. Mia doesn’t have a sexual relationship with her teacher in the book! I suggest you read the book! Nothing like series! And so much better!
