Pretty mediocre. Standard 80's action paperback novel. Not much substance but it's good enough to keep one hooked in. There's also quite a fair bit of smut type writing in this, which is just really cringe, so be aware of that - though it doesn't really detract from the book. Ultimately, Assignment Burma is okay. I'd recommend reading it if you're interested in WW2 and/or like to laugh at frequent low quality writing, go for it. Got my copy for 50c at a community market, not sure where else it can be found.
