Great read. Detailed in every aspect, J R Moehringer tells a fantastic tale of his Famous Voice father, and weaves that story with the threads of what was his life in small-town Manhasset, Long Island, New York. I am hoping the movie does the book justice, although the movie will be under two hours, yet the book lasted several weeks. After the movie, I might read the book again, for it is The Tender Bar that raised the boy who wrote the book!
