The writing is quite good, but the book is way too long and drawn out, it's too much of a soap opera, the author clearly loves torturing the good people, and not sufficiently punishing the evil people, who are allowed to perpetrate their evil endlessly. Loved the first book, dragged my way through this one only because I started it. Couldn't wait to move on, and will not read another one.
