Marlene Cooper

I absolutely loved the movie The Prom. The cast is phenomenal, the music is catchy and the lyrics are wonderful. Meryl Streep is perfectly cast, as is everyone else. I find it upsetting that some people were upset that James Corden is playing a gay man, and all I can say to this is he is acting, and acting very well at that. I am not one to rewatch movies that I have just seen, but I watched this one at least 3 times after it first came out. It was just what was needed during the Pandemic....light and entertaining with an important message.
