I just loved this subtle, poetic film. It is to me so beautiful and full of beauty in so many layers and details. Full of the richly felt experience of living life, of being aware. It is in the way Paterson observes everything. How he conjures his poems from all he experiences and how this is translated through the film’s understated way of weaving a beautiful tale of love, humour and warmth for all its characters. And of the poetry that is there in living every life, in every extraordinary ordinary day.

I love It! It’s just a great film and a great sequel to Top Gun. Worth waiting for!!! I can’t put into words how much I think it works. Top Gun has always been in my top ten films of all time… and now this is up there too. It is everything I love about Top Gun but somehow-even more - as effects and fight scenes in jets are even more realistic. I Love Tom Cruise in this, he does a perfect job-exactly how I could have imagined Maverick’s character development later on. And I love Iceman… Enough nods to the fans of Top Gun to never disappoint… that opening title sequence on the aircraft carrier reworked is brilliant. I love that Maverick meets up with an early love- Penny Benjamin…. Jennifer Connolly is lovely, just great in this film. I must have watched Top Gun as a kid in the eighties about 150 times. (Maybe more!) Happy to consider I will be watching Top Gun Maverick that many times! And not only is everything from script to cinematography excellent in every way- if I’m running late I only have to put on the soundtrack and listen to Dark Star and I feel I’m probably catching up (when I feel the need- the need for speed)! A great soundtrack that has developed along with every aspect since the first Top Gun. Respect to Tom Cruise and the whole creative team. It is just brilliant! 10//10 for me in pure entertainment and as a total joy to watch.

I simply love Clarkson’s Farm. I hadn’t anticipated that I would love it as much as I do - I watched the first series twice, I loved it so much. And have waited impatiently for series two!! I find it entertaining, hilarious and fascinating as Jeremy Clarkson highlights so much about farming I didn’t know. His infectious enthusiasm, seemingly genuine love for what he is doing, and the array of characterful people in his world we get to know, from Kaleb, Lisa, Charlie and Gerald, who I look forward to seeing each episode, make this for me a total gem. A feel good, joyful, warm, funny, engaging and brilliant series!! Long long may it continue!!
