Great way to end this period of the franchise. To those complaining about the pandemic related theme… this was written before the pandemic hit. They started filming this a year after the last release. To those complaining about this isn’t “Bond” in all his machismo. He’s aged ok. He’s likely in his 40s at the very least. To think your ideal bond wouldn’t have some internal issues to deal with after all this time is naive and imaginative. Plus, he still looks fantastic while you’ve gone bald and fat. He’s the ideal portrayal of a man. Tough on the outside, willing to die for his loved ones, yet actually has some emotions on the inside. People don’t actually want a cold hearted hero. To those that didn’t think the villain was villainy enough… there is no greater villain than one that has no human motive. Rami played the most evil villain in franchise history. He literally just wanted to see the world burn for no reason. To those complaining about them discounting his moniker, 007 as if it didn’t mean anything… they literally paid homage when the new 007 requested M reinstate Bond as 007. They made the point that Bond is and always will be 007. To those complaining about Bond just representing all the problems with men, and that this movie is sexist, misogynistic, etc., why did you watch it in the first place… You know what you’re about to watch. And you still watched it. Did you just want to see Daniel Craig with his shirt off? To those that said this wasn’t entertaining… the box office speaks for itself. That’s why they kept making more. The vast majority of people, old fans and new, clearly have found this franchise entertaining. Even if they brought Daniel Craig back for another, I bet you’d watch it. Great movie. Great cast. Great send off.
