The best version of a Christmas Carol by far. Alastair Sim was born to play this role. He never did get to eat that potato soup when Jacob Marley first appeared! The ending with his landlady is classic. My mother and I enjoyed watching the movie in front of the fireplace on Christmas Eve.

This movie inspired Hogan's Heroes, but it's a thousand times better than any of the Hogan's heroes episodes. "Animal" is by far my favorite character in this film. They don't make movies this great anymore. Haven't for a long time.
