I find it hard to believe Arnold Schwarzenegger really loved this movie and did not like the Total Recall remake. Maybe some corruption involved there with stroking of ego or financial incentive. Not sure. This movie was too gratuitously cheesy with the plot getting really convoluted and hard to swallow the farther it progressed. Good acting, bad writing.

Very well done but it is hard to stay invested given the subject matter. I got to a point I stopped watching after about 2/3 because I did not care who won the car races anymore. Compared to the conflicts happening in the world it seemed silly and wasteful. To see so many people in so much waste of fuel and resources just to get sponsors who want to advertise brands on winning car teams. The fact that this really happens made it even more depressing. Many other movies about obsessive niche worlds are among my favorites. Whiplash is fantastic.

This movie was great. It reminds me of old style cinema from the seventies but was less boring. Very well executed. I am not sure why anyone would go on to give it one star. What were they expecting? Did they see other Dostoevsky books converted to movies better?

This was a solid action movie with a cerebral protagonist. I am not on the bandwagon for criticizing the departure of what people expected Liz Salander to be able to do or say. It was different from the Swedish series, but this should not provoke a mob lynching. The performances were solid, the production value was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and hope for more like it.
