The show is perfect for when you want to escape reality, switch off your brain, and just enjoy some light entertainment. However, it falls short in terms of character development, transitions, and the struggles one would realistically face when moving from a wealthy lifestyle to a middle-class one. The gradual growth of the characters as they adapt to their new circumstances is missing.
It portrays Bae's handling of work, personal life, and the move from Delhi to Mumbai as surprisingly effortless, when in reality, it's much more challenging. The other characters also lack depth and donโt have well-developed personalities or backstories, with Bae being made the central focus, which felt predictable. I wish the show had explored those transitions, struggles, and character growth in greater depthโit could have been much more impactful and relatable to todayโs youth.
That said, itโs a fun, light-hearted series thatโs perfect for weekend binge-watching when you're looking for something easygoing!
