Decent movie with a mildly interesting plot.
More of a drama about human-machine interactions along the same old plot of "machines will become smarter than us and take over" than anything new.
Cliched use of the "recluse super-genius tech billionaire who walked on water before his balls dropped".
Movie was more of a sheep dressed in wolves clothing that tries to distract viewers by showing a larger than life billionaire, tech-gadgetary, super-hot servant robots than actually having any decent conversations on A.I or even the Turing test.
Basic technical question - how will Ava charge herself in the real world if she requires induction plates? You say Solar power - nowhere it is mentioned that she has solar panels on her body. In the real world, she either powers down within the first few days, or someone reports to 911 when she is stuck to an induction plates at some facility, AND eventually the government finds out that she is a robot AND sent to be studied in some lab. Armageddon resolved in 2-3 days max without any action.
All in all, a decent watch.
