I didnt like the plot, behind enemy lines but dying for no particular reason except they wanted to keep a hill when the war was due to be over in a day or so, there were so many other better stories to tell about World War I that are far better, and of course its fiction. Also World War I remains such an understood war, and so few good films about it. The movie is braggadocio, macho. Violence for no reason isnt virtuous. They had good actors but the plot stunk, I gave it two stars for the camera and actors otherwise I just flat out didnt like it.
